Hi Ann. Thanks for commenting. Yes, I saw the face in the rock prior to making this iamge and then spent some 20 minutes climbing around trying to find a composition that included The Mitten and a recognizable perspective on the face.

Fantastic landscape image, George...what caught my eye and I found interesting was the perspective of the perpendicular rock faces; then I saw the man after reading the backstory. Fun. Did you see him before you took the photograph or after? L/F
