This mesmerizing image was made at Cossatot River State Park in Arkansas. This is a combination of 90 images merged into one image to show the magic of our night sky and the beautiful stars. Combining the images creates the star trails that you see in this image.
It was pitch black standing down by the river as I waited for the nightscape to reveal the millions of stars in the sky. The darker the sky became the more stars you could see until the sky was covered in stars. Beautiful sight to just sit in the quiet darkness and watch as Mother Nature reveals the true beauty of the night.
