Artist's Description
Red Pass from the Titus Canyon Road in Death Valley National Park, California. Step back in time and try to imagine life in the Grapevine Mountains surrounding Titus Canyon. Leadfield, an old mining town, is not far from Red Pass. How did the miners survive in this harsh climate? Lovely to pass through and enjoy but I bet the old miners lost the beauty of this place as the reality of their daily lives took hold.
About George Buxbaum

My heart and passion is landscape, nature, travel, and urban photography but I am most at peace out in the field with a camera enjoying mother nature and capturing the beauty of the world around me. Come join my adventure as I share my view of the world one image at a time. Please take a few minutes to browse my portfolio and be sure to read the description for the images that grab your attention. In many of my descriptions, I attempt to bring you into the scene from my eyes as I contemplated what to include in the image. Maybe this will help you to connect with my vision of the scene and why I was moved to capture that particular moment in time. I shoot mainly for color images and most of my portfolio is comprised of color images...
