Artist's Description
Footprints. Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in Death Valley National Park, in California. In between many of the dunes one can stumble across areas of dried mud, hardened by the harsh, arid environment, which used to cover this part of the valley before the dunes intruded. This particular area caught my eye and reminded me of the poem Footprints in the Sand.
