Artist's Description
A New Day, Dawn at Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park, California. I was fortunate enough to be at Death Valley for the Super Bloom of 2016. I had been out shooting different locations above and below Badwater. This was just north of Badwater looking into the hills. The sky opened up and greeted the morning with glorious colors. The patches of yellow across the valley are the yellow desert flowers that painted the desert floor with color not normally expected in a desert environment.
About George Buxbaum
My heart and passion is landscape, nature, travel, and urban photography but I am most at peace out in the field with a camera enjoying mother nature and capturing the beauty of the world around me. Come join my adventure as I share my view of the world one image at a time. Please take a few minutes to browse my portfolio and be sure to read the description for the images that grab your attention. In many of my descriptions, I attempt to bring you into the scene from my eyes as I contemplated what to include in the image. Maybe this will help you to connect with my vision of the scene and why I was moved to capture that particular moment in time. I shoot mainly for color images and most of my portfolio is comprised of color images...
